Volkswagen Canada Achieves Sales Record
New Passat Continues to Perform
(firmenpresse) - AJAX, ONTARIO -- (Marketwire) -- 12/03/12 -- Each month of 2012 has resulted in record sales for , and November was no exception. The country's 136 dealers delivered a total of 4,659 new cars and light trucks last month, a figure 16% higher than during the same month last year (4,015). Year-to-date, the total of 55,355 represents a new full-year record with December sales still to go, and betters last year's total by 13%.
"Our results so far this year have been overwhelming," stated John White, President and CEO of Volkswagen Group Canada. "With a tremendous range of products, our customers have a multitude of inexpensive, fuel efficient and fun-to-drive Volkswagens from which to choose."
The redesigned mid-sized has experienced explosive growth in sales figures this year, with Canadian consumers finding great value in its combination of size and price. With a range of available engines, including the , the Passat offers a compelling choice for mid-size sedan drivers.
TDI Clean Diesel engines are now available on the , , , , Passat and models. These engines are recognized as the industry benchmark for power and efficiency, allowing drivers to have the best of both worlds.
