Cyclone Power Technologies Displays Land Speed Record Vehicle at Performance Racing Industry Trade Show
(firmenpresse) - POMPANO BEACH, FL -- (Marketwire) -- 11/29/12 -- (OTCQB: CYPW), developer of the all-fuel, Cyclone Engine, announced that it will be displaying its land speed record streamliner at the Performance Racing Industry trade show today through Saturday, December 1 at the Orange County Convention Center in Orlando, Florida.
Nelson Hoyos, Director of Development for the Company's subsidiary Cyclone Performance LLC, stated: "We're excited to give the public its first glimpse of the Team Steam USA streamliner. The body and chassis are complete, and when we return the car to South Florida we will finish the controls wiring and safety equipment installation. Being invited to display our car at the biggest performance racing show in the nation is a great opportunity for our team and Cyclone shareholders."
Harry Schoell, Cyclone's Chief Technology Officer, added: "For those of you interested in the progress of the Mark 5 engine, we saw a remarkable 108 horsepower with over 1,000 ft. lbs of torque during our last dynamometer run. We're very pleased with our results so far and will continue work this week in our shop to increase and maintain the engine output needed to shatter the old speed record."
According to the trade show's web site, the PRI exhibit is attended by over 38,000 buyers from 70+ countries. Attendance is restricted to performance racing companies and professionals.
