ID: 1174406

Bückeburg, 27 November 2012 – SiTime, the US manufacturer of MEMS oscillators, is the fastest-growing semiconductor company in North America. This is the conclusion of a report published a few days ago by the Deloitte LLP accounting firm.

(firmenpresse) - Deloitte LLP in San Francisco published this year’s technology ranking “Deloitte’s 2012 Technology Fast 500™” on 14 November. This ranking includes the 500 fastest-growing companies in the technology, media, telecommunication, biotechnology and environmental technology segments in North America. The evaluation was particularly successful for the US company SiTime. Only founded in 2005, the manufacturer of analogue semiconductor products is the fastest-growing semiconductor company in North America and no. 38 in the overall Deloitte ranking. The ranking of the winners was determined based on their percentage sales growth between 2007 and 2011. SiTime boosted its sales by 3,853 percent in this period.

“The innovative SiTime silicone MEMS and analogue technology is currently revolutionising the timing industry, with a sales volume that grew to more than USD 6 billion over the last few decades. Our products with unrivalled performance, reliability and flexibility are being brought to market at very competitive prices. Thanks to their advantages, many companies that develop and produce electronic products have chosen timing solutions from SiTime,” says Rajesh Vashist, CEO of SiTime. “We are proud of our position as the fastest-growing semiconductor company in North America, and would like to thank our customers and employees for their support in achieving such great success.”

SiTime, the international market leader for MEMS-based timing solutions, has been the official supplier of SE Spezial-Electronic AG since 1 March 2012. The portfolio includes standard oscillators (XO), spread-spectrum oscillators (SSXO), voltage-controlled oscillators (VCXO), digitally controlled oscillators (DCXO) and temperature-compensated oscillators (TCXO) with asymmetrical (0.2 MHz to 220 MHz) and differential outputs (1 MHz to 800 MHz). Numerous SE customers have come to value the robust MEMS oscillators from SiTime as a highly interesting alternative to conventional quartz oscillators.

“SiTime’s innovative silicon MEMS and analog technology is “SiTime’s innovative silicon MEMS and analog technology is revolutionizing the decades-old, billion timing industry.
