The stained glass window in Centre Block of Parliament commemorates the legacy of former Indian Residential School students and their families, as well as the Prime Ministers historic Apology in 2008. At the ceremony the Honourable John Duncan, Minister of Aboriginal Affairs and Northern Development, and the Honourable Andrew Scheer, Speaker of the House of Commons, will be joined by the artist Christi Belcourt, elders, former Indian Residential Schools students and other distinguished guests.
