Penske Named to G.I. Jobs Military Friendly Employers List for Second Year
(firmenpresse) - READING, PA -- (Marketwire) -- 11/15/12 -- Penske Truck Leasing and Penske Logistics have for the second consecutive year been named to the G.I. Jobs magazine . Penske placed ninth in the transportation sector, and 94th overall.
According to G.I. Jobs, companies that are considered for list inclusion are examined for their quality of military recruiting campaigns, percentage of new hires who have served in the U.S. military and for company retention and National Guard and Reserve service policies.
"Our company greatly benefits from the core values, outstanding work ethic and leadership skills of veterans," explained Ken Hurley, Penske's Senior Vice President of Human Resources. "We're pleased to once again be included on the G.I. Jobs list."
