Former Lijit Networks and Federated Media Publishing CTO Will Lead Engineering and Product Development for Text Link Optimization Startup

A 15-year veteran of the publishing and software industries, Puentes brings deep experience building large-scale networks and collaborative communication systems.

Puentes joins LinkSmart after serving as CTO of Federated Media Publishing, where he successfully led an engineering team that built and operated one of the web's largest real-time, advertising, bidding and delivery infrastructures. Puentes joined Federated through its 2011 acquisition of Lijit Networks, an advertising and analytics company, where Puentes held the position of CTO and oversaw the creation of the company's real-time, highly transactional advertising platforms. Prior to Lijit, Puentes built the global multimedia architecture for Raindance Communications' web conferencing service, where he earned a patent in collaborative communications.
