AMA Houston Announces Top Marketing Award Competition Open for Nomination

Nominations for this prestigious award will be accepted until November 15, 2012. The Marketer of the Year program recognizes exceptional marketing by Houston-area companies, organizations and institutions. Any individual may nominate one or more companies, organizations or institutions in any of 41 industry categories. This year's awards event will be held at the Alley Theatre on March 18, 2013.
The 41 Best of Category winners for Marketer of the Year will be selected by a vote of chapter members combined with scoring by a panel of local marketing experts and will be recognized at the March 18 awards event, during which the overall 2012 Marketer of the Year will be announced. A panel of judges composed of senior marketing professionals from outside the Houston area selects the overall Marketer of the Year from among detailed questionnaires submitted by the 41 Best of Category winners.

Since 2005, the Chapter has recognized organizations or companies for their excellence in overall marketing with the Marketer of the Year award. Prior Marketer of the Year winners include Discovery Green (2011), the University of Houston Athletic Department (University of Houston Cougars) (2010), Blinds.com (2009), Kelsey-Seybold Clinic (2008), the Houston Zoo (2007), Weatherford International (2006), and the Houston Symphony (2005).
