World's Largest Online Ophthalmic Resource Marks Five-Year Milestone

The global reach of the ONE Network allows physicians to provide optimal care to countless people with vision-threatening eye diseases and conditions. Currently, more than one-third of the world's ophthalmologists are using the ONE Network. Importantly, access to the ONE Network is provided to ophthalmologists in developing countries where ophthalmic education resources are often scarce -- regardless of their ability to pay.
"I had a patient with a complication that I had never seen before," said Ronnie Bhola, MBBS, an ophthalmologist from Trinidad and Tobago. "I went to the ONE Network, where I was able to find a video of a patient who had almost an identical problem. This was a really tricky case that I was able to solve because I had access to this great medical resource."
The ONE Network allows users to earn continuing medical education and continuing professional development credits through more than 60 interactive courses and cases. It also helps U.S. ophthalmologists prepare for exams that are required to maintain their certification. These targeted tools and information, along with more than 110 self-assessment tests and 740 clinical videos, help sharpen ophthalmologists' total knowledge base.
