Wickes Announce Home Improvement Competition for DIY Bloggers
The DIY experts construct a unique competition to help budding builders the chance to realise the home improvement project of their dreams

Inspired by the latest home improvement trends and with Christmas just round the corner, the company have challenged budding builders and bloggers alike to put their dream home improvement project to paper (well, blog) to be in with the chance of winning GBP 300 of Wickes vouchers!
Wickes have teamed up with established DIY blog, , who are hosting the competition, in order to provide a platform for the competition entries.
Entry into the competition is simple: Show Wickes what you would put GBP 300 towards around your dream home. Visualise the construction, the materials needed, the build, the colours and what the project means to you. Note it all down (with pictures, drawings and other annotations) and either email it to the folks at Make it and Mend it () using 'Wickes Competition' as the subject line, or craft your idea into a blog post and submit it onto the Make it and Mend It .
The winner will receive GBP 300 of Wickes vouchers that can be redeemed at Wickes in order to help you realise your dream project. Additionally, four runners up will receive GBP 25 of Wickes Vouchers.
Competition entries should include all the details of one home improvement project. Perhaps you would like to transform your old worn carpet into beautiful wooden floors. Or maybe you need to prepare the spare room for an exciting new addition to your family.
Alternatively, you can get your kitchen ready for Christmas by choosing some brand new wall tiles or a new sink. Whatever the project, whether it's exceptionally practical or infused with ingenuity, write your best blog or email entry about it and send it along to Make it and Mend it and those home improvement dreams could become a reality.
