(OTCQB: BMPI) announced today the appointment of Mr. Brian Thompson to its Board of Directors. He becomes BillMyParents' 5th independent director. Mr. Thompson is a seasoned finance executive who has held senior level positions including President and CFO of high growth companies generating revenues of over $1 billion.
Mr. Thompson is currently Senior Vice President of Equity Dynamics, Inc., a financial consulting entity established by renowned business leader and philanthropist John Pappajohn. Mr. Thompson negotiates investment transactions, performs due diligence and is heavily involved in capital raises for new ventures. Prior, he served as Chief Financial Officer and Chief Administrative Officer for Kum & Go, one of the largest convenience store chains in the U.S., where he managed growth in revenues from $600 million to $1.3 billion during his tenure. He has served as President and Chief Financial Officer of Astracon, a provider of connectivity intelligence software to communications service companies. As a partner and Chief Financial Officer for Edgewater Private Equity Funds from 1995 to 2000, Mr. Thompson completed over 15 private equity transactions with capital in excess of $300 million.
