Carvel Names Scott Colwell as Brand President
Marketing Veteran Joins FOCUS Brands to Lead Growth of Iconic Ice Cream Brand
(firmenpresse) - ATLANTA, GA -- (Marketwire) -- 10/29/12 -- Carvel® Ice Cream announced today that it has named Scott Colwell as Brand President. Scott's primary responsibilities will be to develop and ensure successful execution of Carvel brand strategies and programs to enable the evolution of the brand with continued sales and profit growth.
Scott states his goals for Carvel are "to work closely with our associates and franchise partners to energize our iconic brand, accelerate the growth of Carvel and strengthen our leadership position in ice cream and treats."
With over thirty years of marketing, product innovation, strategic planning and general management expertise, Scott was most recently the chief marketing officer at Bruegger's Enterprises, Inc. He and his team successfully developed and implemented brand strategies and innovation initiatives. Prior to Bruegger's, Scott served in various executive roles at Dunkin' Brands Inc., Bob Evans Farms, Inc. and Friendly's Ice Cream Corporation.
