Efacec Showcases Integrated EV Fast Charging Solutions
Firm to Present at Charging Infrastructure Expo 2012
(firmenpresse) - NORCROSS, GA -- (Marketwire) -- 10/25/12 -- will showcase its latest electric mobility technologies and solutions for the North American market at the upcoming Charging Infrastructure Expo 2012. The free electric vehicle (EV) charging exhibition and conference will be held in the Detroit suburb of Novi, Mich. from November 13 to 15, 2012.
Efacec will showcase its QC50 and QC45 DC fast charging stations, highlighting the new SAE combo standard connector. Efacec will also be showing the most recent developments in its Charger-to-Grid (C2G) implementation, which is designed to turn an impending burden on the grid into a benefit by increasing grid performance and efficiency through energy storage and smart grid applications.

During the conference, on November 15 at 11:30 a.m., Efacec's Director for Business Development for Transportation in North America, Mario Santos, will make a presentation titled "EV DC Fast Charging: The Road Ahead." His presentation will address the lessons learned in deploying DC fast charging stations in the U.S., the challenges and opportunities offered by the new SAE Combo standard, and finally, an update on the Charger-to-Grid concept.
