Hastings Architecture Adds Four, Promotes Another as Firm Grows
(firmenpresse) - NASHVILLE, TN -- (Marketwire) -- 10/24/12 -- Hastings Architecture Associates, LLC recently attracted four new team members and promoted another to expand the depth and capacity of the firm.
New Hastings Architecture team members include: David Cates, Robert Kown and Aaron Tourtellot, who have joined the firm as Intern Architects. Additionally, Tamie Schofield has joined Hastings as Administrative Assistant and Amanda Coulter has been promoted to Junior Interior Designer.

, who received his Master of Architecture from Georgia Institute of Technology, and a Bachelors of Science degree in Landscape Architecture from the University of Georgia, joins Hastings Architecture as an Intern Architect. Prior to completing his Master's, Cates worked as a Design Associate with Williams & Associates Land Planners in Athens, Georgia on design development, construction documentation and resolving the technical challenges of projects. He is a member of Southface Energy Institute and American Society of Landscape Architects, among others.
also joins Hastings Architecture as an Intern Architect. Kown completed his Master of Architecture at University of Tennessee, Knoxville where he was selected to represent the university by presenting at CriticalMASS, a national architecture symposium for graduate students. Prior to completing his Master's, Kown was a marketing consultant at Southwind Health Partners and an Account Executive at LaForce + Stevens in New York City. He has also volunteered for The Land Trust for Tennessee.
joins Hastings Architecture as an Intern Architect. He obtained his bachelor's degree from Clemson University's School of Architecture and Design. During his time at Clemson, Tourtellot won Best Portfolio as part of a senior design competition, acted as mentor in the Clemson University Bachelor of Architecture Mentor Program and completed a number of freelance design projects.
joins Hastings Architecture as an Administrative Assistant. Schofield had previous positions including executive meetings manager and later convention services manager at Gaylord Opryland Resort and Convention Center. She also taught English in South Korea.
, who joined Hastings Architecture in July 2011, was promoted to Junior Interior Designer. Coulter has a Bachelor of Science in Interior Design from University of Tennessee, Knoxville. Prior to her time at Hastings Architecture, Coulter honed her skills at Interior Design Associates.
