Addition of Rich Communications Services to BroadCloud Platform Speeds Time-to-Market, Lowers Deployment Costs for Service Providers
(firmenpresse) - GAITHERSBURG, MD -- (Marketwire) -- 10/24/12 -- (NASDAQ: BSFT) today announced the addition of Rich Communications Services (RCS) to its BroadCloudâ„¢ Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) platform, providing Mobile Operators with managed service delivery of converged messaging, presence, media sharing, voice and video calling.
RCS and RCS-e (Rich Communications Suite-enhanced) enable interoperable enriched communication between a broad range of mobile and other IP devices and networks. With a managed service delivery model, BroadCloud RCS speeds time-to-market, reduces deployment costs and integration complexity.

BroadCloud RCS may be deployed in either IMS or non-IMS network environments. For non-IMS networks, BroadSoft provides the required IMS functionality as an integral part of the managed BroadCloud RCS solution. This provides the ability to deliver the RCS user experience quickly and cost effectively, while retaining the flexibility to migrate to IMS at any time.
BroadSoft's core communications platform incudes BroadWorks®, BroadCloud and BroadTouch™, and offers an extensive range of consumer and business communications applications, including Voice over LTE (VoLTE), RCS, RCS-e, Unified Communications, conferencing and collaboration.
