Sutron Corporation Announces Contracts for $3,943,652
(firmenpresse) - STERLING, VA -- (Marketwire) -- 10/18/12 -- Sutron Corporation (NASDAQ: STRN), a global leader in hydrological, meteorological, and oceanic monitoring products, systems, software and services, is pleased to announce we have signed two contracts with the Islamic Republic of Afghanistan, Ministry of Energy & Water (MEW). The first contract is for Operations and Maintenance (O&M) Services for 105 Hydrological Stations supplied and installed against Contract No: MEW/OCB/GH-102 and for Stations to be installed against Contract No: MEW/GH-102/22 for $2,745,864. The second covers Operations and Maintenance Services for 56 Meteorological Stations, some already installed and some being installed, against Contract No: G-205/H104 for $1,197,788. Each O&M Contract encompasses a period of four years.
