Neopost Cuts Costs for Denbighshire Electoral Services

Neopost Limited, a in document, mail and parcel processing solutions, has supplied Denbighshire County Council's Electoral Services Department with a DS-35 desktop folder inserter. The department is responsible for producing the Annual Register of Electors and predominantly communicates with its electorate via post, relying on postroom equipment to automate this process.
A folder inserter is an essential tool in the preparation of outgoing mail outs, but unfortunately the department's previous folder inserter had become dated and unreliable, causing an increasing amount of work to be sent to an external mailing bureau. To bring more of this work back in house and save man hours the council decided to purchase .
Gareth Evans, Electoral Services Officer for Denbighshire County Council comments "We needed a machine which could comfortably fold and insert letters with a reply envelope if necessary. Due to limited office space and resources we also needed a machine that wasn't too big and that was easy to use. With Neopost's DS-35 folder we can now manage mail outs of anything up to 5000 letters. Following the installation we've been very pleased with the performance of our DS-35 folder and inserter."
