VPG Names Williams-Gray Company as Manufacturer's Representative for BLH and Nobel Product Lines in the U.S. Paper and Pulp Industry

(NYSE: VPG) today announced that it has signed Williams-Gray Company as a manufacturer's representative for its VPG Process Weighing product group's BLH and Nobel Weighing Systems brands. Under the agreement, Williams-Gray will provide sales and support for BLH and Nobel products within the paper and pulp industry across the Great Lakes, Midwest, South, and Southeast regions of the United States.
Founded in 1906 in Chicago, the Williams-Gray Company has provided longer continual service to the U.S. pulp and paper industry than any other sales agency. The company provides six full-time sales/service partners that represent quality principals in the pulp and paper markets. Combined, Williams-Gray's partners have over 150 years of industry experience, service over 300 accounts in 24 states, and engage in over 2,000 mill visits per year.
BLH and Nobel Weighing Systems have more than four decades of application and installation experience with paper mills around the globe. The BLH and Nobel brands' precision web tension measurement systems allow paper machines to operate at higher speeds with fewer breaks. Patented reel optimizing (ROS) and nip load control systems (RRS) eliminate winder-induced roll defects. BLH and Nobel also offer servo-controlled disc gap control systems for pulp refiners.
