Actelis' Board of Directors Appoints Co-Founder Tuvia Barlev as Executive Chairman, Following CEO Departure
(firmenpresse) - FREMONT, CA -- (Marketwire) -- 10/10/12 -- today announced that Vivek Ragavan has resigned as president and CEO. As a result, the board of directors has appointed Actelis' former co-founder and CEO, Tuvia Barlev, to preside over the company's operations as executive chairman during the search for Ragavan's replacement. A familiar role for Barlev, he served as president and CEO from 2002 to 2010 and, since then, has served as chairman.
Ragavan joined Actelis in 2010 to further develop the company's broadband solutions portfolio for business and residential markets. Actelis' entrée into the residential market in 2011 was a strategic step forward in its ongoing growth efforts, including a successful launch of the award-winning (BBA) for the residential broadband market.
