The video demonstrates work done in the laboratories of Dr. Michael King at Cornell University in Ithaca, NY on a device containing HNTs that separated and captures circulating tumor cells (CTCs) contained in human blood.
Dr. King, an associate professor of Biomedical Engineering at Cornell University, is an expert on fluid dynamics and the techniques to separate target cells from blood.
