RS Components Named East Midlands Business of the Year by British Chambers of Commerce
Second award for Excellence in Innovation gives RS two places in Chamber Awards 2012 national finals
(firmenpresse) - CORBY, UNITED KINGDOM -- (Marketwire) -- 10/05/12 -- RS Components (RS), the trading brand of Electrocomponents plc (LSE: ECM), the world's leading high service distributor of electronics and maintenance products such as the latest in (PLC's) has triumphed in the regional heat of the Chamber Awards 2012.
RS has been named Business of the Year and won the Excellence in Innovation award in the East Midlands category. The achievement means the company will now automatically be entered into the national finals which take place at a glittering awards ceremony in London this November.
The Chamber Awards were launched by the (BCC) in 2004 to recognise and celebrate business excellence through the successes and achievements of its Accredited Chambers of Commerce and their members. Submissions are invited from the 10 Chamber regions in the UK, including the East Midlands.
