Anniversary to Highlight 25 Years of the Greatest Classic Cars Blackhawk Has Showcased at the Museum and Around the World
(firmenpresse) - DANVILLE, CA -- (Marketwire) -- 10/04/12 -- The Blackhawk Automotive Museum will celebrate the 25th Anniversary of its opening in Danville, California with a year-long celebration of international automotive treasures, beginning with an inaugural gala and charity auction on November 17, 2012.
The internationally renowned museum, opened in August 1988, will celebrate 25 years with ongoing exhibitions and displays of significant automotive treasures blending art, technology, culture and history. The spectacular 70,000 square-foot architectural masterpiece showcases a rotating collection of 70 rolling sculptures in a unique 'jewel box' setting. The Blackhawk Museum will mark its 25th Anniversary with a Gala event on Saturday, August 10, 2013 at the museum.
As one of the world's leading museums of automotive art and design, the Blackhawk Museum is renowned for its unparalleled collection of one-of-a-kind custom coachwork and limited production automobiles. The Museum has showcased some of the greatest and most beautiful classic and collector cars ever created. To mark the occasion of its Anniversary the museum has formed a Host Committee comprised of prominent members from the international classic car world.
