Asheville Dentist Adds New Cone Beam Technology

The XG 3D provides a wide range of panoramic and cephalometric X-ray capabilities that initially creates a comprehensive picture of the mouth to assist in diagnosis. With the new scanning technology of the XG 3D, he adds that same tooth problem is obvious. The image allows him to know the exact location of the bone from every angle, allowing him to better predict the success of an implant procedure as well as provide an accurate guide for the surgery itself.
Dr. Kleive also points out the advantages patients will experience with the machine. The 360-degree rotating picture of the mouth gives patients a better understanding of their individual circumstance and their current condition. This increase in patient awareness leads to well-informed decisions for both the patients and the doctor. In addition, the XG 3D outputs the highest image clarity available while also emitting the lowest radiation levels.
