Now equipped with a fitness center and pool area, which includes a snack bar and sweeping views of the Smoky Mountains, the property provides activities for the entire family. The Laurel Valley Golf Course also features a 1.5-story clubhouse that includes a pro shop, commercial kitchen, restaurant and a bar downstairs, while a 60-seat conference room with Smoky Mountain views, wood beamed ceilings and hardwood floors are located above.
"It's really unique to have so many amenities in an area like this, unless you're going to a resort in the Carolinas or Florida," Crippen said. "The Laurel Valley Golf Course sits on the peaceful side of the Smoky Mountains and provides great views on a really nice and enjoyable course."
Along with the auction of the 6,070-yard golf course, the sellers are including 70 golf carts and all the maintenance equipment in the sale of the property. The course has not been listed for sale outside of the upcoming auction. The most visited park in the United States, the Great Smoky Mountains attract over 9 million tourists annually from all over the world to the front door of the golf course.
