Total Wine & More Celebrates Southcenter's Grand Opening With a Grand Getaway Giveaway
Opening Bash Includes Giveaways, a Trip to Walla Walla, Wine and Beer Tastings, Ribbon Cutting Ceremony, Charity Partnership and More
(firmenpresse) - TUKWILA, WA -- (Marketwire) -- 09/28/12 -- To officially commemorate the opening of its 85th location at in Tukwila, WA, Total Wine & More will hold a grand opening celebration on Thursday, October 4. The festivities will be complete with ribbon cutting ceremony, check presentation to a local charity, wine and beer tastings, giveaways for all attendees, and a grand giveaway of a Walla Walla Wine Country Weekend.
Starting at 6 p.m., Total Wine & More Co-owner David Trone along with Tukwila Mayor Jim Haggerton will hold an official ribbon cutting ceremony welcoming America's largest independent retailer of fine wine, spirits and beer to the community. Total Wine & More will present SeaTac-based Community Schools Collaboration with a $10,000 check in support of the local non-profit's efforts to provide children and youth with opportunities to succeed in school, develop high aspirations, and create a better world.
Following the ribbon cutting ceremony, attendees will be invited to partake in celebratory activities including wine tastings with Wagner Family of Wines, Betz Family Vineyards, Canoe Ridge Winery and Charles Smith Wines, beer tastings with Pike Brewing Company and Elysian Brewing Company, and custom engravings on bottle medallions from Patron Tequila. Everyone that attends the celebration will receive a complimentary Total Wine & More re-usable wine tote, corkscrew and additional giveaways.
One lucky attendee will win a "Walla Walla Wine Country Weekend" giveaway for two people. This all-inclusive getaway package includes two nights at , one of the top 10 bed and breakfasts in the country, a private wine country limo tour with stops at some of the best wineries in the region, including Waterbrook Winery and Tasting Room, transportation costs to and from Walla Walla and meals. Attendees must complete an on-site entry form and be present to win. The winner of the giveaway will be announced at 6:30 p.m.
