CFIA: Media Advisory: Canadian Food Inspection Agency Technical Briefing Regarding XL Foods Establishment 38
(firmenpresse) - OTTAWA, ONTARIO -- (Marketwire) -- 09/28/12 -- The Canadian Food Inspection Agency will hold a news technical briefing to provide an update on the Agency's ongoing investigation of XL Foods, Establishment 38 in Brooks, Alberta.
A question and answer session for the media will follow the news technical briefing. Technical spokespeople from the Canadian Food Inspection Agency will be on hand to respond to media questions, including Dr. Brian Evans and Dr. Richard Arsenault, along with officials from the Public Health Agency of Canada.
There will be a teleconference number for media outside of the National Capital Region. Participants will be able to participate in the question and answer session.
Participants are asked to register 30 minutes prior to the beginning of the briefing with the CFIA media relations office. Please be prepared to provide your name and affiliation on site.
