Growth Capital for mobile expert Panacoda

(firmenpresse) - Stuttgart 26, September 2012. Panacoda, a leading German mobile specialist, has announced the successful completion of a first funding round. Since its foundation in summer 2011, the company has recorded a constant positive development and exceeded all growth targets. In addition to their existing shareholders, Panacoda has won a substantial American corporation for the seed-round. The 6-figure-capital will be used for further development of their HTML5 framework "The-M-Project", which Panacoda has continuously developed with the global mobile developing community since its foundation. The mobile specialists aim to place its framework amongst the worlds top 3 HTML framework providers. In addition, Panacoda will expand European sales.
Panacoda CEO, Sebastian Werler, comments: "We are satisfied with the current valuation of our company and are excited about the possibilities presented with the new capital. With our portfolio of mobile services together with our HTML5 framework and toolkit "The-M-Project", we are excellently positioned for further expansion throughout Europe."
Panacoda CTO Dominik Laubach adds: "Our goal is to see our framework firmly placed among the top 3 mobile HTML5 frameworks by mid 2013 and thus position our company as the European counterpart to the American-dominated mobile framework market. To achieve this vision, we require the industry"s most highly skilled and talented developers. In addition to expanding our personnel, we also plan to connect components to our framework through technology partners - this ranges from major software companies such as SAP, universities and research institutions through to freelance developers. We believe such technology partners will make our solutions even more attractive for the many demands of our enterprise customers. "
In addition to the framework expansion, Panacoda will also further pursue its "HTML5 everywhere" vision. Here, Panacoda has initiated HTML5 projects and solutions for SmartTV and automotive markets as well as mobile commerce in professional publishing - to name a few.
