The 24/7 retail store will be installed in La Quinta Inns & Suites lobbies and is supplied by -- a national hotel pantry supplier specializing in hotel retail. designers assisted La Quinta in selecting the assortment, fixtures, appliances, retail pricing and branding based on proprietary retail data for over 4,000 hotels they currently serve nationwide. The Bright Side Market will offer snacks, quick meals, frozen foods, sundries, personal care and electronic items as a convenience to guests who may have left an item behind or require an impulse item to eat or drink.
The Bright Side Market flagship store was launched in San Antonio at the La Quinta Inn & Suites - San Antonio Conference Center in August of 2011. The store consistently exceeded revenue and profitability expectations during the test period with monthly sales reaching $8,000 - $15,000 per month while maintaining a 50% or higher profit margin.
