Organic Potash Corporation Announces Stock Symbol Change to "OPC"
(firmenpresse) - TORONTO, ONTARIO -- (Marketwire) -- 09/26/12 -- Organic Potash Corporation (CNSX: GOP) ("OPC" or the "Corporation") announced today that effective Monday October 1st, 2012, the Corporation's common shares which are currently traded under the stock symbol "GOP" on the Canadian National Stock Exchange, will begin trading under the new stock symbol "OPC".
The Corporation will continue to be listed, and its common shares will continue to trade on the Canadian National Stock Exchange.
Mrs. Heather Welner, President and CEO stated: "The stock symbol change aligns our symbol with the strong brand name we have developed over the course of the last year. OPC wanted the 'OPC' stock symbol since the inception of the Corporation, however at that time; the symbol wasn't available and only now has become available, hence the change at this point in time. We feel that the symbol change will better assist us in our marketing endeavours and that our customers, shareholders, potential new shareholders, and all other stakeholders will better identify us with this new stock symbol."
