EFI Redefines Digital Ceramic Printing Market with Next-Generation Cretaprint and Fiery Technology
(PresseBox) - 09.2012 - EFI(TM) today unveiled the EFI Cretaprint® C3 printer with the Fiery® proServer for Cretaprint, the world's first digital front end for the growing ceramic imaging market. Representing a new generation of inkjet presses for ceramics, the Cretaprint C3 multipurpose digital ceramic decoration printerleverages five years of research and development work and combines the knowledge and customer feedback of 15 years in the market space. The EFI Cretaprint C3 is on display this week at Tecnargilla in Rimini, Italy(24-28 September)at the EFI Cretaprint stand (Hall C1, stand 166).
The first EFI Cretaprint C3 press was installed at El Barco Spain. The Cretaprint C3 features a single chassis able to accommodate up to eight print bars, which are easy to access due to a new slide-bar design, and can be independently configured for printing and special decoration effects. The flexible and innovative multipurpose system offers over 1,000 customisable settings, from print width and speed to printer direction and ink discharge, and allows working with different print heads in the same machine - some for printing and others with stronger ink discharge to apply special decoration effects.
