7-Eleven(R) Canada to Serve Up Nation's Favourite Beverage on National Coffee Day
Free Coffee at all its Stores from 6:00am-10:00am on September 28
(firmenpresse) - VANCOUVER, BRITISH COLUMBIA -- (Marketwire) -- 09/25/12 -- Whether it's part of your daily routine, a way to wake-up or a craving that just won't go away, there's no doubt that coffee is a big part of Canadian culture. 7-Eleven Canada wants to celebrate our love of the hot stuff so, between 6:00am and 10:00am on Friday, September 28 (or while quantities last), all 7-Eleven stores from B.C. to Ontario will give away a large, 20-ounce cup of coffee to customers. The giveaway includes 7-Eleven's much-anticipated 100% Colombian Coffee and its fall favourite, Spiced Pumpkin Latte.
The popular promotion, now in its second year in Canada, has been named CofFREE Day and coincides with National Coffee Day on September 29. Canadians have good reason to celebrate: a total of 64 per cent of adult Canadians drink coffee on a daily basis, making it the number one beverage choice excluding tap water. Surprisingly, our southern neighbours drink significantly less with only 54 per cent of Americans sipping a coffee on a daily basis.

7-Eleven coffees are freshly brewed every 20 minutes. Two varieties that are expected to be in demand are 100% Colombian Coffee and Spiced Pumpkin Latte. New this year, the 100% Colombian Coffee is a full-bodied, medium roast of 100% Colombian premium Arabica beans and is distinctly rich and flavourful. The seasonal Spiced Pumpkin Latte infuses creamy pumpkin with a pinch of cinnamon and a hint of nutmeg.
The CofFREE Day promotion runs from 6:00am - 10:00am on Friday, September 28 - the day before the official National Coffee Day to ensure commuters get a chance to enjoy a free coffee on their way to work. The giveaway is one large cup per customer and includes any hot beverage but excludes iced coffee. The promotion will take place until 10:00am or while quantities last.
Rather than having someone behind a counter preparing your morning cup, 7-Eleven's coffee program allows you to make your coffee the way you like it, with no extra charges for cappuccinos, lattes or for syrups and toppings.
