Rare Element Added to S&P/TSX SmallCap Index

(TSX: RES)(NYSE Amex: REE)(NYSE MKT: REE) is pleased to report that the S&P/TSX SmallCap Index has added Rare Element Resources to the index commencing at close of market September 21, 2012. Rare Element was one of 47 companies added to the Index this year.
