FLIR Systems Awarded Contract Valued at $26.3 Million to Support the U.S. Navy

(firmenpresse) - PORTLAND, OR -- (Marketwire) -- 09/20/12 -- FLIR Systems, Inc. (NASDAQ: FLIR) announced today that it has been awarded a firm fixed price contract from the Defense Logistics Agency Aviation valued at $26.3 million for advanced imaging systems and related electronics for installation on U.S. Navy equipment.

It is expected that work under this contract will be performed out of FLIR's facility in Wilsonville, OR. Deliveries are scheduled to begin in October 2012, with performance to be completed by December 2012.
