The interface extends FleetKnowSys' real-time workforce management capabilities by allowing a wide variety of dispatch information to be transmitted directly to and from the cab, with details specific to individual jobs. Drivers using FleetKnowSys can now instantly confirm arrivals, departures and load details including weight, actual quantity, and delivery notes. The FleetKnowSys interface to TruckMate provides form-based and free-form messaging between drivers and dispatchers for timely status updates on trips, stops, activities, and freight bills. It also provides automatic synchronization for all equipment and employees for ease of system administration.
Vnomics states the new interface will serve as a future integration path for other mission critical processes, such as Hour of Service Logs, Turn-by-Turn Directions, Proactive Maintenance Alerting, electronic Driver Vehicle Inspection Reports and mileage based IFTA reporting, that it already provides for its customers.
