WABCO Opens New Sales and Training Center in Hanover; Further Extends Capabilities of WABCO University to Serve Customers Within Commercial Vehicle Industry

(NYSE: WBC), () a global technology leader and tier-one supplier to the commercial vehicle industry, today inaugurated its new Sales and Training Center in Hanover, Germany, nearby the company's center for research, development and manufacturing. It further extends WABCO's industry-leading aftermarket capabilities as it offers access to state-of-the-art training facilities for operators and service partners within the commercial vehicle industry in Germany and Europe.
WABCO's new Sales and Training Center represents the latest and largest training center operated by WABCO University. The new 3,000-square meter facility features up to 6 highly flexible and specially equipped training rooms for up to 150 participants. In addition, the new center's capabilities include 3 fully functional workshop repair lanes for trucks, trailers and buses to ensure maximum learning through hands-on training.
WABCO University is a center of excellence to support customers worldwide, meeting their diverse qualification and training requirements across a wide range of technical and service platforms. It offers technical and business training, online e-learning courses and consulting services. More than 65,000 customers from 45 countries have successfully completed training at WABCO University since it was founded in 2006.
