Kane Biotech Announces Changes to the Board of Directors

(TSX VENTURE: KNE), a biotechnology company engaged in the development and commercialization of products that prevent and remove microbial biofilms announces the appointment of Gord Froehlich to the Company's Board of Directors and the resignation of Dr. Essam Hamza from the Board of Directors due to personal reasons.
Dr. Hamza was appointed as an advisor to Kane Biotech Inc.'s Board of Directors on November 2, 2010 and to the Board on May 5, 2011. During that time Essam has played a major role in helping the Company become one of the world's most innovative biotech companies, providing valuable insight and guidance in the development of our DispersinB® wound care, StrixNB™ oral care and KBI disinfectant technologies.
