Stanley Tucci to Host 11th Season of "Independent Lens" on PBS
Series Moves to Monday Nights at 10 PM

Tucci is the latest in the distinguished company of "Independent Lens" hosts, including Mary-Louise Parker, America Ferrera, Maggie Gyllenhaal, Susan Sarandon, Terrence Howard, Edie Falco, Angela Bassett, and Don Cheadle.

Independent Lens premieres with "," which will broadcast nationally as a special presentation on Monday, October 1 and Tuesday, October 2 from 9:00 PM-11:00 PM ET on PBS. Academy Award® nominee Stanley Tucci has appeared in more than 50 films, countless television shows, and a dozen plays. He can next be seen in Bryan Singer's "Jack the Giant Killer," a modern day fairy tale (March 2013) & "Percy Jackson & the Olympians: Sea of Monsters." He was most recently seen as Caesar Flickerman in the blockbuster "The Hunger Games," and is set to begin filming "Catching Fire," the second in "The Hunger Games" trilogy.
