Audio Pioneer Needs Your Help to Fund the "BlackBox" Project
(firmenpresse) - SAN DIEGO, CA -- (Marketwire) -- 09/12/12 -- The BlackBox is an audio system that has real loud and clear audio for less than half the price of the competition. Steffen Meeks has over 28 years of industry experience and was dissatisfied with the audio offerings in the marketplace. "I wanted an American-designed audio system that was very unique and not another 'me-too' product," says Meeks. Steffen recruited an engineering team that has over three decades of experience designing audio platforms for famous brands to create the BlackBox.
The final prototype BlackBox is a high power 50-watt amplified loudspeaker system that can connect to any audio/video device, such as a TV, iPod, MP3 player, laptop computer and gaming console. With the 12 volt power adapter, it can also be used in cars, trucks, RVs and SUVs. The BlackBox is a retro design made from wood and metal parts that is similar to other high quality, professional and concert loudspeaker systems. The BlackBox incorporates dual 6.5" woofers coupled with the wooden enclosure and digital amplifier which produces a much louder and clearer sound. At a $299 retail price the BlackBox is hundreds of dollars less than similar major brand systems made of plastic that can cost $400-$600.
