Labhart Miles Celebrates 10th Anniversary by Donating to Local Non-Profit

(firmenpresse) - ATHERTON, CA -- (Marketwire) -- 09/12/12 -- Silicon Valley-based firm Labhart Miles Consulting Group, Inc. presented the Vista Center for the Blind and Visually Impaired with a $1,000 check during the Menlo Charity Horse Show in Atherton, the charity's major fund raising event. This donation was the fifth installment of Labhart Miles' $10,000 Charity Initiative, which will run through December 2012. A new charity will be selected to receive a gift each month in honor of the firm's 10th anniversary.

"I know Monika and Bill have always cared deeply about our Bay Area communities and the non-profits that help those in need," remarked Buddy Saupe, one of the horse show committee members. "It was a wonderful gesture to have them add Vista Center to their list of gift giving in their 10th Year Anniversary Charitable Program."

The donation will help provide additional services for more than 2000 people in the 5 counties served by Vista Center.

"We are so happy our gift can help make a difference in the lives of those who are blind or experiencing vision loss," said Monika Miles, President of Labhart Miles. "Helping those in our community is really the whole point of our $10,000 Charity Initiative."

Labhart Miles will select charities in a variety of fields, from soup kitchens and food banks to children's organizations and cancer societies. In addition to non-profits that are near and dear to the principals' hearts, they're looking for causes that provide valuable services to the greater community.

Vista Center empowers individuals who are blind or visually impaired to embrace life to the fullest by serving individuals of all ages who are threatened by loss of independence due to moderate or severe vision impairment.
