iPhone5 presentation powered by miniCASTER®

(PresseBox) - http://www.onemorething.nl is the most popular Apple fan site in the Netherlands and Belgium. It has a bi-weekly live talkshow that is streamed on the website where everything interesting around Apple and its existing or new products is discussed. All live streams are published on a special YouTube LIVE account. So far FMLE was used to deliver the LIVE streams. On average LIVE streams of special occasions attract up to 15.000 concurrent viewers and up to 50.000 on-demand views. Streamzilla Netherlands is used as CDN.
The up-coming event on September 12th, the likely announcement of the long expected iPhone5, will be covered LIVE from 6 p.m. to 7 p.m. in Amsterdam, right in front of the Apple Store. The LIVE stream was planned to be broadcasted in HD 720p, but unfortunately FMLE only goes up to 1 Mbit/s at 720p. Therefore onemorething.nl needed a better LIVE encoder and contacted NETchange, a miniCASTER® reseller, to see if the miniCASTER® was up to this task.
The latest Talkshow went ON AIR on Thursday 6th and was completely encoded by the miniCASTER® SDI model. It was a resounding success. Go to http://www.onemorething.nl on September 12th for some great video quality and some expert comments on the latest Apple announcements. Michael Westphal, miniCASTER® CEO:" We are very excited about this project and thankful that we have such active and strong resellers in the Netherlands."
