Mrs. Sabrina Duguay, President and Principal Partner at is pleased to announce the arrival of Mr. Carl Charest as Senior Strategist Communications, Technology and New Media. This nomination took effect on August 6th, 2012.
Carl Charest started his career as a programmer at Showbizz.net and then moved on in the same role at Astral Media before becoming an advertising coordinator at Canoe, a division of Quebecor. After 5 years at Canoe, he was offered the position of editor for BRANCHEZ-VOUS.com before being promoted as general manager, content and edition for BV! Media. When the company was sold to Rogers Communications, he chose to join TVA Nouvelles as Executive Producer all the while supervising web content for TVANouvelles.ca.
Carl has lectured extensively on social media for numerous clients and is often a guest speaker in many industry events. The list includes the Union Producteur Agricoles du Quebec, the Societe Quebecoises des Professionnels en Relations Publiques, Unibroue, Saputo, Sopexa, Parc Olympique Quebec and L'AMECQ. In addition he has managed social network campaigns for various companies such as Bio-Biscuit, BRANCHEZ-VOUS!, TVA Nouvelles, Table de Concertation des Aines de l'Ile de Montreal and Ford Canada.
Carl's expertise is recognized by his peers as well as by the media where he is regularly called upon to comment Tech News on the Cogeco Network and on LCN.
