982 Media Offers Investors A Piece of TIFF's Highly Anticipated Independent Films
Great Expectations for TIFF thanks to Canada's exempt-market
(firmenpresse) - TORONTO, ONTARIO -- (Marketwire) -- 09/10/12 -- Now TIFF cinephiles can boast more than red carpet movie screenings and A-list after parties. Through 982 Media's new film finance fund, they can actually participate in a percentage of post-box-office revenues from a portfolio of independent films. Included in the portfolio is the highly anticipated , the newest movie adaptation of the Dickens' classic directed by (HARRY POTTER, FOUR WEDDINGS AND A FUNERAL), which premieres at TIFF on Tuesday at Roy Thompson Hall.

The 982 Media Fund is an exempt-market product that is currently offered to Canadian investors though Exempt Market Dealers. It incorporates both debt financing opportunities, such as the P&A Financing, as well as equity participation opportunities in production financing. The fund requires a minimum investment of $5000 and is RRSP eligible.

Each prospective film undergoes a stringent due diligence process in consultation with the team's veteran advisory board including Wayne Duband, former President of Warner Bros International and Russell Schwartz, former President of Marketing of New Line Cinema.
