Startup New Mexico Joins the Ranks of Startup America Regions
New Statewide Entrepreneurship Advocate Group to Host Launch Event at Embassy Suites in Downtown Albuquerque
(firmenpresse) - ALBUQUERQUE, NM -- (Marketwire) -- 09/10/12 -- Startup New Mexico, a statewide effort led by entrepreneurs to support the growth of startups throughout New Mexico, will officially launch in Albuquerque on Wednesday, September 12 at a kickoff event at the Embassy Suites Downtown. Startup New Mexico is the latest Startup Region collaborating with the Startup America Partnership, the national movement focused on providing startups access to the investors, services, corporations and customers that help young companies grow and create jobs.
"Focusing on high-growth startups is a smart strategy for New Mexico to grow its economy," said Scott Case, CEO of the Startup America Partnership. "Startup New Mexico provides a state-wide network to help the entrepreneurs building the next great success story access the opportunities and resources unique to the state."
Startup New Mexico will leverage state and local resources, along with Startup America's national network, to help New Mexico's entrepreneurs gain access to business resources throughout the state and country, enabling them to grow faster, be more competitive and add more jobs. A large number of entrepreneurs and resource providers have already joined Startup New Mexico to support startups statewide.
