Group of Goldline Expands Anevia ViaLive Head-End for Web TV Services
(firmenpresse) - AMSTERDAM, THE NETHERLANDS -- (Marketwire) -- 09/10/12 -- IBC 2012- Anevia, a leader in video streaming solutions and service infrastructure for live TV and video on demand (VOD), today announced that Group of Goldline has expanded and upgraded its existing Anevia IPTV head-end with an Anevia ViaLive XL for its Web TV services.
ViaLive XL is a high-density and modular IPTV and Web TV head-end system that can support up to 80 inputs from satellite, cable, and terrestrial channels. Multiple 4RU ViaLive units can be linked together for further scalability and system redundancy.
Group of Goldline is a Canadian based provider of online printing, telephony, and television services. Its Web TV portfolio includes GLArab, a bouquet of live television channels in Arab and GLWiz, a bouquet of channels aimed at Iranian, Afghan, Tajik, Azerbaijani, Armenian, Assyrian and Kurdish communities.
An Anevia ViaLive XL head-end unit has been installed alongside an already running Anevia 220S DVB gateway at Group of Goldline's headquarters on the outskirts of Toronto. The ViaLive XL's advanced over-the-top video streaming features enables Group of Goldline to offer premium Web TV services to its growing customer base.
