(firmenpresse) - LAKE FOREST, CA -- (Marketwire) -- 09/05/12 -- For a limited time only, Del Taco is bringing back its very popular Crispy Shrimp Tacos and Burritos. This time Del Taco is adding a new flavor kick to give fans a choice between a new Sauce and Del Taco's original secret sauce.
"Del Taco fans crave the flavor of our Crispy Shrimp Taco and Crispy Shrimp Burrito so we've brought them back for a limited time with a new flavor option. Shrimp lovers can add a kick with our new Spicy Sauce, an irresistible addition to our signature crispy shrimp line of menu items," said John Cappasola, Chief Brand Officer at Del Taco.
The new sauce is made from a blend of chipotle peppers, giving it a mouth-watering rich smoky flavor with the right amount of spice.
Served on a warm flour tortilla, each Spicy Shrimp Taco comes filled with crispy golden shrimp served with crunchy cabbage, hand-made fresh pico de gallo salsa, a generous portion of Spicy Sauce and a fresh lime wedge. The Spicy Shrimp Burrito features crispy golden shrimp served with seasoned rice, crunchy cabbage, hand-made fresh pico de gallo salsa, and a generous portion of the new Spicy Sauce. Both the Spicy Shrimp Taco and Spicy Shrimp Burrito are available a la carte or in a meal with crinkle-cut fries and a drink.
Fans can also choose Crispy Shrimp Tacos and Burritos with Del Taco's Secret Sauce.
Del Taco continues to serve its popular Crispy Fish Tacos, that feature lime-seasoned, breaded fish fillets, secret sauce, crunchy cabbage and fresh pico de gallo salsa served in two warm corn tortillas with a lime wedge.
At Del Taco, all menu items are made to order using fresh ingredients including freshly grated cheddar cheese, hand-made salsa, slow-cooked lard-free beans and marinated chicken grilled fresh throughout the day in each restaurant. The menu includes Mexican offerings of tacos, burritos, quesadillas and nachos as well as American favorites like hamburgers, fries and milk shakes.
