Celebrity Damages Photographers Phone
(firmenpresse) - LONDON, UNITED KINGDOM -- (Marketwire) -- 08/30/12 -- So, comedian Russell Brand has been fined GBP 500 and ordered to do 20 hours community service for damaging a photographer's phone in the USA.
Whilst this may be a less common way to have your phone damaged, we have been hearing recently of the numerous ways phones get damaged.
One of the most common is through children playing with them. Little hands are not known for their juggling or catching ability and things tend to fall frequently - and usually onto very hard surfaces! Other ways include leaving them on the car roof when getting in and then driving off and one of the most common - and bizarre - is dropping it down the toilet!
I asked my colleagues about this one - having never lost a phone down the loo - only to find that it was common and, apparently, easy to do. Without getting indelicate, phones fall out of back pockets quite easily.
From experience, my nephew rides his bike everywhere and his phone has fallen out of pockets - usually during some spectacular leap at the skate park - on numerous occasions and now looks as though it has been through the back of a dustbin truck!
