Third party car insurance not popular
The Asda Money research found that just 4% opted for third party, fire and theft and nearly 1% have third party only.
Third party insurance only covers injury to people or damage to their property as opposed to your own. Third party car insurance also covers people if you were involved in an accident and you were to blame. Should you be involved in an accident that was not your fault, you may need to pursue a claim from the other party's insurer.
Once you have decided what type of insurance you would like, you can shop around for the best deal. Car insurance is a legal requirement and third party insurance is the minimum level of cover that coincides with the law to drive a car on UK roads.
