Barker and Stonehouse has launched a new site which allows customers to browse furniture ranges, check stock, place orders, track shipments in progress and even see if a product is on display in a nearby store.
The site is designed to make Barker and Stonehouse even more accessible and create an easier shopping experience for the customer.
Managing director James Barker said: "Although some customers will always prefer to come into store to see the furniture, our room sets and styling ideas, some customers prefer to narrow their choices down before they come into store and the new mobile site allows them to do exactly that.
"It also gives them access to the company's Facebook, Twitter and community pages which carry special offers and competitions and the latest store, product and trend news.
"We've revamped the site in response to customer feedback and ever changing consumer shopping habits. Initial feedback has been very positive so we're confident that this will be another popular added value for our customer service offer."
The new site is the latest innovation at .
It has recently introduced in-store iPads so customers can view the company's complete product image library. Sales advisors can show customers items that may not be on display and also process orders via the iPads.
Barker and Stonehouse has also introduced a text alert service to inform customers of order and delivery details.
