Meeting planners who make a booking at this superior by September 30, 2012 for select value dates in 2013 will earn Double Rewards points plus a choice of one of the following when they book a minimum of 100 rooms per night for a three-night stay:
Complimentary Internet in guest rooms;
One corner king upgrade per 20 rooms booked;
One complimentary suite upgrade per 50 rooms booked;
One complimentary room for each 30 rooms booked;
One staff room per 50, at 50% off group rate.

The Charlotte Marriott City Center hotel recently spent $1.5 million to completely redo all of its 20,000 square feet of meeting space which features 12 meeting rooms. The renovation encompassed new carpeting, vinyl wall coverings, paint, chairs, art, and lighting. The largest meeting room is the Grand Ballroom with a maximum meeting space of 9,108 square feet and a maximum seating capacity of 1,450 attendees. There are a total of 13 breakout meeting rooms.
The Charlotte hotel also redid its two Presidential and two Vice Presidential suites which received all new furniture, fixtures, and equipment.
