Assembly made child's play - The markilux syncra 2 fix - practicality all round
We love convenience. Consider how life has changed with the introduction of smartphones and tablet PCs. As time becomes an increasingly scarce resource, we look to products that are timesaving and require minimal handling. This is the leitmotif for the relaunch of the markilux syncra 2 fix, with a convenient assembly system. The new round pillars with integrated cable duct also give the system a modern fresh appearance.
(firmenpresse) - The free standing, permanently mountable awning system syncra 2 fix addresses time and complexity issues of previous models. These predecessors consisted of one compact welded steel construction - now all components of this convenient shade solution can be connected individually. This allows for easy adjustment and dismantling. Günter Schöttler, Technical Manager at markilux explains: "Thanks to the new screw assembly system, the installation of the syncra 2 fix becomes significantly easier, especially now that the crossmember now fits any awning model and does not require adaptation as was previously the case ." This means significantly less assembly input and thus saves time.
With the exception of the base plates the entire awning is now completely made of aluminium, which further simplifies assembly. According to Schöttler this does not affect the sturdiness or stability of the awning even though the appearance has changed. The surface of the aluminium permits a smoother, finer paint application. It is available in all common RAL colours from markilux or also in the elegant Lounge colour schemes: anthracite metallic, stone grey metallic and off-white textured finish.
The new rounded appearance is underlined by redesigned and slimmed-down support pillars. These come with an integrated cable duct with a lockable opening. It houses the complete power supply for motorised operation, an illumination system or a radiant heater. This not only makes the assembly of the syncra fix 2 easier and faster, explains Günter Schöttler, but gives the system a new elegant appearance with added practical benefits.
