While the event promises fun for everyone who attends, 15 percent of the proceeds will provide hope and promise to clients of Project Lazarus, a New Orleans residential facility which provides assisted living to those in the Gulf Coast region living with AIDS. Founded in 1985, Project Lazarus not only provides transitional and permanent housing, but oversees supervised independent living and emergency shelter as well as emotional wellness, therapeutic services and a substance abuse program to those in need.
